The Queensland Cricketers’ Club is Brisbane’s premier function venue. While the club offers unrivalled panoramic views of The Gabba it’s not just about cricket. It’s also a place where hospitality, sports, events, gourmet food and fine wine unite. SKOPE worked with Queensland Cricketers’ Club and CEO Lachlan Furnell and Commercial Kitchen Company to install premium refrigeration befitting a premier venue.
To complement the high end finish, SKOPE’s Counterline and B series range of bar display fridges were installed in black for a clean, sharp finish. To stay true to the Commercial Kitchen Company design SKOPE also custom built two Pegasus 2 door gastronorm fridges in black. The Pegasus upright fridges are used for food storage and nestle seamlessly into the front of house design.
To maximise beverage sales, tropical glass doors were fitted in the Counterline, B series and Glass Chiller fridges. Heated film installed in the door prevents condensation from forming on the glass even in the hottest Queensland temperatures. In Queensland the old convention that red wine should be kept at room temperature doesn’t apply, as red wine is best kept between 14-16°.
"SKOPE’s B series of temperature controlled fridges, which keep red wine at the optimum temperature, were the perfect solution to keep members happy."
